Today, I edited a #wikipedia page to include a non-primary source. The article I included was from 2021 that reflected on events that occurred in 2001
Recently, one of the subjects of the article came out as a #transgender women
Yet, the article started, "20-years ago, two men..." Even though the subject came out a short while ago as transgender, even after the 2021 article, major publications should have known in 2021 to be more gender neutral in their writing, imo.
