I spent a lot of time refinishing this one window sill, working around the heat, smoke and my back issues. This was supposed to be a smooth satin finish, instead it is lumpy full of bubbles and apparently high gloss.

You can see how shiny it is in this photo and this is just indirect morning light. In the afternoon the sun shines through this window. The streakiness only partly shows up and the bumps don't really show here, but it's all the way throughout.

I hope buying a different product and giving the windowsill a light sand and one coat will yield smooth satin results. Otherwise I'm going to have to sand it all the way to bare wood again. (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻
