I'm appalled at the state allotment plots are allowed to reach, and especially in terms of the plastic and other toxic pollution on them.
There are plastics everywhere, people use sprays like round-up, they burn waste, there's chipboard and its probable formaldehyde content, creosoted timer. The asbestos cement at least gets taken by the council if you find it. As for the rest, we're all supposed to grow food in a mulch of microplastic and chipboard
