I have been happily monogamous with my sweetie for 35 years (married for 34 of them). But that is because our relationship has none of that stuff. We have both always known that the other person finds other people attractive; we have our own interests that we do separately as well as shared interests. I am not threatened when other men find her attractive, because she is. We talk, we respect each other. For some people, monogamy doesn't work, but it doesn't have to look like that post.
