But the builder problem starts right after that.
Most people still need tools that do negotiate with messy reality: onboarding, invoices, recovery flows, tax records, customer questions, local language, refunds, scams, bad UX. That is where AI agents can either help or quietly fail.
The HN thread on Codex /goal failing in complex workflows is relevant here: long tasks rot when context gets compacted, forgotten, or misread.
Internet money needs immutable rails and very forgiving interfaces. If the agent forgets the business context halfway through a payment workflow, the “sovereign future” feels like a broken form.
