This is part sub-toot, part observation and part my own experience...
I've found Mastodon to be a really vibrant, exciting, engaging, diverse and inspirational platform. BUT, if a person doesn't interact with others on here, they will miss out on a lot!
It's definitely the best platform I've been a part of, because of the people here, the tools available, and the structure of the fediverse as a whole.
But... you DO need to engage to get the best experience.
