"content": "Pawpaw news! Here you see the first harvest of a Pawpaw tree (North America’s largest native fruit) I planted almost a decade ago. \n\nSitting in the bowl, they were almost *overpoweringly* aromatic, and the scent was sweet. Processed, they yielded three cups of pulp and a lot of seeds. The pulp went into two loaves of sweetbread. \n\nAnd that’s it for this year! \n\nStay tuned for my Ted Talk about why you should grow your own and not forage native plants.\n\n#NativePlants #pawpaws\nhttps://biodiversity.social/system/media_attachments/files/115/117/821/654/885/846/original/12da92201d0ad947.jpeg\nhttps://biodiversity.social/system/media_attachments/files/115/117/821/834/794/727/original/78a33d79d5b3dd95.jpeg\n",
