Eventually I will need to use something other than DEN to control the select input on our little 157.

I'm thinking Pin 6 on U43, which is the same chip we socketed to override the color clock, is a good candidate.

this is the inverted color burst trigger, and conveniently it isn't connected so we can solder on to the back of it.

so in theory, when pin 6 goes high, the color burst should be over and it should be safe to swap out our color clock.
