Stopped by a brewery before leaving the coast earlier today. We sat outside, it was a really beautiful day so it was pretty busy. The hostess walked up to a table that had two men sitting at it with a drink. She told them that they were fine there before because there was space, but now that people needed to be seated they had to move because they ordered a beer from the bar and those tables are only for table service. She pointed out an another outdoor seating area they could utilize. The two guys started getting mad, one of them was like “I don’t like that. You’re saying we need to leave our table? I’ve never been asked to move like this in my entire life” and just kept going off. The hostess repeated herself and she was being really kind and apologetic just explaining the situation… they finally got up and were still going off at her. As they were walking away one of them shouted “liberal bathrooms, of course it’s a liberal brewery!” making a huge scene.

For about an hour after all I could think about was the bathrooms. I was so curious what was so liberal about them. I thought maybe at most they had inclusive signage or something that could’ve triggered these dudes. I finally got up to check it out… it was just single stall bathrooms with walls from floor to ceiling?? The only sign I saw was one on the way that said “bathrooms” with an arrow lol. Such babies
