"It just works" is not enough anymore. We need to push the envelope, make apps on Nostr easy to onboard without forcing people to understand relays, nodes, private keys, and how the network works (let them learn at their own pace and level). Then we need to actually make these apps fun to use. It really is that simple from an overview perspective. Anything else is a distraction.
