I'm happy to discuss compensation. If it's something I want to do, and the effort is something I'm willing to commit to in my free time, including ongoing maintenance, I'm happy to do it for free. I often do.
That's a lot of ifs.
I'm happy to mute/block anyone who insists I provide free labor. Or walk away if need be.
This is about a current situation for someone else.
