All the leaves on my magnolia are going black at the ends. Nothing I've been able to find out about online matches this. There are no spots or scale insects. I can't see any powdery mildew. I gave it a feed a couple of days ago - general plant food. It's been dry, but i've been watering (but not too much). I'm in the north of UK.

Anyone know what this is? Looking for knowledge over guesses; I have already done my own searches on this.
