interestingly there was a paper published that looked at the benefits or otherwise or major disorganisation of the NHS. The only change since 1955 that was beneficial coincided with the much maligned Health & Safety at Work Act.
Since that paper was published the century long improvement in life expectancy stopped in 2012. I leave it to others to guess why. My guess is neoliberalistic murder by starvation.
