yep this is definitely one to approach with caution. The organizers seem sincere but very uninformed about how to go about setting up a protest or what actually happens at protests (e.g calls to "obey the police").
For anyone who chooses to go, please exercise caution and do not go alone. We are still leaning towards "sincere but really poorly organized" but that can be just as dangerous as an actual trap, especially in red states. It may also be the case that some states have sincere protests while others are a ruse.
