Because they dont imagine themselves doing any heavy lifting. Being a lefty means living on the shoulders of productive part of society and sharing the fruits of their labor. Once those fruits are depleted that's when real equity kicks in. Being a lefty in early stages of socialism/fascism is easy because of free money without expectations.
