I randomly stumbled up on this incredible rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star".
And it made me lose my breathe.
You got to understand that I'm not a Disney guy. Most of their music, I can't stand. But there's such a purity to this version that it's unshakable.
Until today, I had no idea who Gary Karr & Harmon Lewis were. Apparently, Gary Karr was one of the most renowned classical double bassists in the world. Harmon Lewis was an organist, who was also Gary's live-in companion. Both were locals who lived in Victoria, British Columbia.
