There are some real gems here. And I find owners/staff are really happy to chat about cooking and food, if you're making something for the first (2nd, 3rd...) time because they actually know the food and the cuisine--something you rarely get (at any level) at a big grocery store.
And, not only can prices be better, you can often get the actual brands used back home. Sriracha from Thailand is so different to what you find in mainstream stores.
