my red maple is starting to get its fall colours. (the green oak seedling is for comparison.) i might take a 'real' photo of it when it gets its full yellow and reds.

right now the tree has long extensions on the branches, which i have left on to strengthen it for winter. after the leaves fall off, i'll prune the tree back to shape.
