Gravity is just an (unproven) theory. Problems with gravity are 1)no signs of acceleration when objects dropped and 2) downward force and upward force (bouancy) at the same time.. 3) you can see the gradient from the earth's upward motion - see this video and test for yourself - bouancy always shows the direction of a force/motion
