When at some point the Trump administration makes it illegal to speak critical of the US history in public and censorship with AI scrapes it out of the internet, (slavery, Genocide etc.,) historians like that would be incarcerated when trying to still educate and in a cell or dead, their knowledge is just gone and they are useless.
