I consider the public school education I received (1967-1980) to have been mostly apathetic to abysmal.
That said, I think the school voucher system is going to fix public education. It's here to strangle it to death.
And it will give conservatives another political/religious wedge to drive into a culture they despise.
The end game is to control education for everyone, not just to protect their choices in education.
Consider how well private prisons are working.
