In general a slow flow is more extraction and a fast slow is less. So if you struggle with over-extraction go for a faster filter. If it’s not extracted enough go for a slower, often thicker, filter. Of course other things like grind size also matters here.

But regardless of all of this, in the end it’s all about if the coffee tastes good or not. That’s actually the only thing that matters. 😁
