Currently working on a post that goes over the details of how to read terms of service, privacy policies, etc, and not get mentally numb, and to get actual information.
It starts with realizing that, for most vendors, these terms are business documents that are statements of intent, as opposed to documents that define any rights or protections for end users.
With that as the starting point, everything else makes more sense.
