hazlin at rest (nprofile…rs6s)
I've always preferred headphones of some kind, every time I've used speakers they sound trashy as hell, and I'm not willing to drop $1k+ on the high-quality stuff. Plus I'm not living alone, so it's a courtesy thing too.
A standalone mic is probably a good idea if you're recording for videos and stuff, I've yet to come across an integrated headset mic that didn't sound at least a little bit crusty.
