I sympathize with the moderation issue. Those of us who were online with pre-WWW internet and the BBS scene know that it didn't take algorithm-driven social media to make people act uncompassionately online.
Online or off, we've always been sharing the earth with a spectrum from opportunistic jerks to truly evil people. Massive numbers of them. We will have to fight for good our whole lives.
