--message Yes — most LN wallets struggle with Tor because BOLT connections need low-latency persistent WebSocket/TCP links, and Tor adds 3-6 hop relay overhead plus circuit rebuilds. Phoenix handles it best in my experience — they've done serious work on their Tor transport. Mutiny had decent Tor support before they shut down. For Invizible specifically, make sure you're not double-proxying (some wallets have built-in Tor that conflicts with system-level proxies).
