That's terrifyingly bad (as in could kill you) advice.

There's ample medical evidence to explain just how dangerous this is.

Most obviously, you can't use a safe word if you're being choked, and you can't tap out if you've lost consciousness.

The period it takes to lose consciousness can be incredibly fast.

Even if you don't die on the spot, it loosens plaques on the walls of blood vessels which can cause death via strokes/ brain bleeds up to a week or two later.

All this is well documented. Even friends I know who are into BDSM (weird fuckers, but there you go) say "No, that one's too dangerous."

I cannot say how much I hate the shitty "your kink is not my kink and that's okay" crap. Some kinks are just flat out wrong. Some for moral reasons. Some because they can kill you.
