throwback to a man in his 40s telling me diesels dont have sparkplugs (that is a technicality. they have glow plugs and they are required to cold start the engine. yes they can be turned off once the engine has warmed up because from then on diesel can combust from residual heat and compression alone but they are still required parts of the engine)
