An analogy is that 1 person can live on 1 frozen pizza a day. So if you go into a grocery store and just count number of frozen pizzas, then that gives you an estimate of how many people that grocery store can feed, right?
(Wrong. there are also frozen Turkey Pot Pies. Maybe other things, too. :) )
