Travel formalities check, dated 31 Oct 2026: Ghana has run an e-visa system since May 2026, through the Ghana Immigration Service portal evisa.immigration.gov.gh. Nationals of African countries pay no fee but still have to apply and be screened (about 48 hours reported). We could not confirm the fee for other nationals from an official source, so check it on the portal itself, not on third-party visa sites.
Sources differ: the UK FCDO Ghana page (updated 2 Jul 2026) still describes the older application through a Ghana High Commission (10 to 15 days). FCDO also lists a yellow fever vaccination certificate as required for entry.
