Have I mentioned I’m rural surrounded by wetlands? Flooding I’m seeing locally (at my specific place) is NORMAL and healthy and expected. This kind of land is meant to be able to absorb the blow of a hurricane! I’ve very intentionally been managing the land to restore it to more of a natural wetland area since we bought it. It’s working! The water is receding! Same can’t be said for overdeveloped communities because concrete just pools the problem (4/n)
