I had no idea there are other devs on Knots. I thought it’s just Luke copying changes from Core without attribution, and his love for 80 byte limits on messages. I will look more into that and get back to you. And what is the problem with funding and Core? As far as I know people are funded through grants or employment at companies like Blockstream. What’s wrong with that? Software development is expensive and this helps attract qualified people, most of whom were in the field as volunteers before.
