Here's a passing #activism thought. - from Israel but will be applicable in the US increasingly in coming days.
Many of my academic colleagues want the war/genocide in Gaza to end as soon as possible. Not to mention the apartheid laws and occupation of the West Bank. But within this group, the vast majority (though not all) bristle and rage at the academic boycott (which is, by all accounts, very much on the rise).
Now, of course, there are arguments for and against academic BDS.
