Google Photos is rolling out a new AI-powered search feature called 'Ask Photos' that allows users to ask complex queries to find specific photos. The feature uses Google's Gemini AI model to understand photo content and metadata, and can answer questions like 'best photo from each National Park I visited' or 'what theme did we use for our child's last birthday'. The feature is initially available in early access to select US users and will expand to a wider user base.
