I have a question: I learned, that you should not put the peel of citrus fruits in (your own) compost because their mold is related to penicillin and damages the compost bacteria.
But the regularies of our (industrial) rapid composting system say that you can put citrus fruit in it.
Is it the higher temperature that makes this possible or was my previous information wrong?
