Seriously, I was trying to leave my autobody tech career since 2014
It wasn't until I joined Mastodon, learned Laravel and revived my webdev career in 2016, that the pieces started to fall into place
I wasn't able to leave my automotive job until I was fired in late 2019, right around the time I landed my first NLnet grant.
NLnet saved me and my family from homelessness, thanks to countless hours of pixelfed (npub1gq5…qcul) dev and the EU
I'll never forget this ❤️
