Jane Hume not holding back today
"Voters have stopped listening to the Coalition because they are a "rabble", Liberal senator Jane Hume says.
Hume was pretty blunt in her assessment of where things were heading for the Coalition as she tried to make sense of the last couple of weeks.
"I do believe that it's time for the leaders to take a good, hard look at themselves and decide what it is that they're going to do to get us out of this hole," she told Sky News.
"It's more than just coming together, shaking hands and saying 'we've kissed and made up'."
She denied she was calling for a change in the leadership but Hume said they needed to figure out what they stand for as a Coalition.
"Who is it that we're fighting for? What are our policies? Because people have stopped listening to us because we are a rabble," Hume added."
Also said on the polling they wouldn't win a lower house seat in Victoria or NSW
