The idea that enabling spam on Bitcoin is good for miners is first-order thinking.
Why?
Bitcoin is a free market. As a result revenue generated via fees will quickly be offset by a rise in the network difficulty.
This means that in roughly 2048 blocks, hash price will revert to its prior level—but the Bitcoin network will be worse off.
