A couple of weeks ago, several reputable outlets confidently explained how DOGE would be most likely a paper tiger, an advisory committee that won't achieve anything, much like previous ones. In fact, a similar such story by The Conversation U.S. (npub1gpe…88e5) just came across my feed again.
Good reporting here from Reuters, but media should take it as a wake-up call. Authoritarian governments _break the fucking law_ to do what they want. They don't follow precedents; they create them.
