it's our cousin's wedding today, so of course our period started last night
ffs. being a nexus with any kind of reproduction focus when you have zero intention of reproducing yourself is so annoying sometimes lol.
our body will menstruate at the drop of a hat. sometimes when we want babies to happen somewhere--such as the highly embarrassing time when we were listening for the ostriches and did it three times in one month because the only noise they make you can hear from a distance is their mating call, so our body was just like, you suppose if we menstruate it will encourage the other creatures around to reproduce, and we were going omg no no that's not how this works and we are so tired of being biological and leaky help.
other times when babies might happen, regardless of whether we have a particular interest in it happening. like, if she gets pregnant we will adore her baby, but we haven't been excitedly anticipating her getting pregnant, it's just a thing that might happen and we know she wants a family in that way.
