I primarily use Mastodon via web app on PC or tablet. I've been doing this for years. However, there is one setting I would really like to use which I haven't been able to find. I don't think it exists yet, unfortunately…
Question: How do I disable the distracting notification symbol?
PS I do like notifications. Likes and boosts make me feel good 😇
PS2 But I also would like to browse the Fediverse without being distracted by an annoying symbol... 😢
