Interestingly contacting authors to request an RSS feed usually is a bit too high of a hurdle for me, but I did find the motivation to write a project to create RSS feeds with a couple of CSS selectors, which I'm now somewhat regularly using: https://feed-me-up-scotty.vincenttunru.com
(And writing CSS selectors still feels like less effort than contacting the author 🫠)
