In Belgium, five climate activists are being prosecuted for participating in a peaceful protest against the airport of Antwerp back in 2023. They face up to one year in prison.
Except … three of them weren't even a part of the action. One of the others had their arm and fingers broken by the police, who clearly weren't as keen on nonviolence as the protesters.
The justice system in this country is a farce.
