UNIVERSITY OF GOMA ACCEPTS BITCOIN
The University of Goma in eastern Congo is now accepting payments in Bitcoin, becoming the first university in Africa to do so.
The move comes as Goma has been under M23 occupation for over a year, with banks shut down.
Bitcoin is being used for real transactions when the traditional system is unavailable.
