One of the best lines in Succession, an HBO drama based more-than-loosely on the Murdochs, comes in the 2nd episode after the Grand Patriarch has had a stroke. His oldest son, concerned about the markets knowing just how far gone dad is, says,
"No one wants to say it, but dad's a lot sicker than he's letting on. When he opens his mouth, anything could come out — drool, antisemitism, a fucking string of silk handkerchiefs"
