So oil tankers move slowly, so the last oil tankers that left the strait of hormuz before the iran war haven't even arrived in Europe yet, so the real economic pain hasn't been felt yet and it'll be severe
The only silver lining I see here is that I don't see how this would NOT accelerate a green transition
More renewables, long and short term energy storage, more electric cars, even possibly more nuclear?
The poorest are going to hurt the most sadly
