Got mail from the township on Saturday that our sidewalk was broken and we needed to fix it or get a $2000 fine. Sidewalk is at the far end of our corner lot. I called because I thought that was the township’s job. Nope, law says it’s mine.
This afternoon, the township is fixing the sidewalk.
I’m not complaining. They just saved me $3000. But I am going to enjoy calling the guy I had a contentious phone call with to tell him his colleagues fixed it, just like I said they should.
