I will take this moment to once again shill Streets of Fury EX, Guard Crush's, as far as I know, only game prior to SOR4. It is one of my favorite beat-em-ups and if you can get past the dopey mocap aesthetic it is the only game in the entire field of these games that can properly be called a successor to Guardian Heroes.
If that means nothing to you then the precise autism of SOFEX might be a hard sell.
