So after my frustration with not being able to get myself some new cheaper varifocal specs in the UK, I went back to a pair I ordered online last autumn.
Welp, it still felt like the higher levels of magnification started just too high up the lens, making the distance blurry.
This time I figured I may as well try a hack on them - I took a fine file to the nose bridge supports (or whatever they're called) to try and widen the distance between them, so they would sit marginally lower on my face.
