Things I love about my job.
A student from another department wants a project to work on. I have an idea and suggest it. The student jumps on it, and announce they will raid their shed for bits of wood to test the idea with.
Yes, it means I don't get to do the fun project myself, but it also means the fun project will get done - and written up.
